The location in this drawing is of Port Melbourne Town Hall in Bay St.
The town hall is an essential element in the historic Bay St. Streetscape.
Port Melbourne Town Hall was erected in 1882. The architect J.J Wild employed a free Classical Revival-style architectural motifs in the form of 2 pavilions and a central tower. The Town Hall is still intact and majestic. I drew the electricity pole to indicate the scale and height relationship between the tower and surrounding trees.
