As I begin to see the urban as a place for green possibilities, a collision between order and disorder redefine the urbanscape by placing it in a new context. The edges absorb and redefine space, pushing contours into asymmetry and yet contemplating balance. The balance, so many of us seek and hope to regain today.
The edges of the paintings have become like launching pads for surfing a new space. A floating sense of place where the edges offer a point of departure yet remain as a supportive anchor.
