Rendered with saturated colour, primary And complementary colours in pursuit of creating spaces that imagine an alternative narrative. An ambiguous response to the empty village centre on a Sunday afternoon.
Inspired by my Sunday afternoon walk around Middle Park, I encountered an empty village centre which makes the presence of this figure strong enough also to inform the space he occupies. I seek to empower the viewer with quiet dignity and an awareness of one's own space. The location is on the corner of Richardson Street and Armstrong Street. The Roundabout with the palm tree is on the Left-hand side.
