As a spectator mode of experience, I observe the continuous flux of our experience in the lived urban world. Art and the every day in this painting interact and connect through a colour prism. A mother is taking her child for a stroll in her pram. A woman at a local takeaway coffee restaurant and a couple in the far distance is going for a walk. The empty footpath usually populated with dining tables and chairs, the shop doors are closed for business during our lockdown in Melbourne. The tree branches spread their arms into the sky, reminding us of life and the continuity of nature.
