Dancing the rythm of life
A creative collaboration between the artist and the artist as a dancer invites the viewer to an urban open space with a new perspective.
As a dancer, I was not interested in merely executing a dance but in facilitating a process through constructing, translating and transforming ideas before presenting a visual art form. I intend to direct attention, evoke curiosity and offer a pathway to explore our urban environment.
Intense colour intends to activate the picture surface through a dynamic interaction between eight colours. Colour now becomes a form of expression within this composition.
