Absract Urban Landscape
Shaped paintings break away from the traditional rectangular shape of a painting.I use an electric router as a tool to cut out each shape and thereby extricate it from its rectangular confines.
I am enraptured with the inherent power of colour and shape. The shapes, as if a life force, brings the composition into a new existence.
