Between the Urban Ocean and the City, April 2021

This April exhibition is inspired by my walks and investigations in and around our local foreshores within the City of Port Phillip. A sense of place where sand strips are margining magnificent views.
As Australians, we love our city life by the coast everywhere.
Between the Urban ocean and the City’ addresses the relationship between our urban environment, our urban space and the urban foreshore.
How do Architects, planners and designers respond to this relationship?
Is it a new terrain for commercial ventures, trade and tourism centres, or a new negotiation of terrain development?
If you live in the City of Port Phillip, you would have seen the changes around you.
I bring these works to you to inspire reflection and contemplation.  A sense of place that connects people’s lifestyle with their local areas.
